Happy 4th ( a week late)

We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.
We did! It was so nice to have Zak off for a few days and we started out the long weekend with a really fun day.

Thank you Pinterest for the cute dessert ideas!
One of Colton's all time favorite things to do... FIREWORKS!  He was so excited to go pick some out.  He said this was the best Firework stand because it was RED!
We started the afternoon with lunch At Mimi and Jerrys,
 playing,
and rides on the new 4 wheeler!

After a quick rest, we headed outside to hang out with some of our favorite people.
 Colt and Addy
 Chase and P
I wonder what the future holds for these friends!?!?!
We have made so may memories in the driveways with our neighbors.
We are so lucky to have such awesome people all around us.
Colt with his beloved fireworks.  Look at the joy in his face!
Sweet Chase was getting so sleepy but he fought going to bed for hours!

Chase and P cuddling with "Me".
 Kenna and Kayla.

My Little Fish...

We have been spending a lot of time in the water this summer.

We've been to a number of swim lessons.

We've spent a lot of time at our neighborhood pool.

Yesterday, we branched out a little bit and went to Noah's Ark with Pa, Nanny, Mimi, Kelly, Bj, Barrett, Landry and Logan and two of their friends.

And, Today, we spent the whole day with our neighbors,  Amber, Addy and Kenna, at their Grandma's back yard swimming pool.

We are loving the water
and fun times with family and friends!

2920 days

2920 Days
70,080 hours
8 years ago today, I married my love
my best friend, my soul mate.

Today we made the promise of no gifts.
Today was about remembering the day we got married and thinking about how far we've come and how blessed we are.

8 Years ago, when I walked down the isle towards Zak, I knew life would be good but I never knew it would be this good.
On Zaks way home from work he picked up pizza.  We had a relaxing night eating pizza and ice cram with the boys.  We all got in our PJs and we watched our wedding video.  We haven't watched it since our first Anniversary.  Chase wanted nothing to do with it, but it was fun to see Colton excited about it and recognize all our friends and family.  What was even more exciting was to see all of our favorite people in the world, together in one place, and to know most of those people are still important parts of our life today.
Saturday, Zak and I are having a date night so we can hang out just the two of us but tonight was the important night and it was a very special night.  With my boys!

Happy Anniversary Honey!  Here's to 65 more!  I love you!
