One Last Swim

It's been a busy different kind of summer.  Don't get me wrong, it was full of fun but kind of different fun.  We didn't have as many nights out front, or trips to the pool.  I feel like this summer, we did it BIGGER.  There were more big vacations and season passes to Typhoon Texas and MUCH less hanging low.  We had a blast with friends but sadly, it all went SO FAST.  The fastest summer yet! Sunday, we squeezed one last swim in with Addy!  No matter how much they grow up...this girl will always be part of our family.  I love the bond she and my boys have, especially her and Colt.  As they grow their relationship is changing but they always seem to find each other. They have such a special friendship.

A day At Gaga and PawPaws

The boys spent the day at Gaga at PawPaws painting and baking and painting some more.  I'm soooooo impressed with what Gaga helped them create.  They had such a fun time!

Bomb Pop!

A few months ago, Colton decided he wanted to save money and buy a kayak.  This summer he started mowing our yard.  So with saved up Christmas and birthday money, Colton started saving up his mowing money.  He did so well with the meowing.  No complaining, ever.  He even hit up Grandad and he mowed over there a few times with a promise from Grandad to buy his paddle.  Last weekend, we went to "look".  He found "the one" and was so excited about it.  For 48 hours it's all he talked about.  Then on Monday, I jumped online to find it was an an amazing sale.  A sale we could't let Colton pass up.  A sale that made it easer for him to buy the kayak he wanted right away.

So, here he is in HIS kayak!  We're proud of him and his hard work and he's over the moon with his new "bomb pop" (thats what Zak and I call it) kayak!
