Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween 2020....We weren't sure what this year would look like  but we made it out Trick or Treating and spent some time with close friends.  We were glad to have some normalcy in the night.  The grands didn't walk with us, and we didn't have the crowd we usually do but it was a fun night and the kids got TONS of candy (I made them put it aside for a few days before eating it).

A little mom update....

We were able to schedule an outdoor visit with mom at her home last weekend. It was so great to see her but we weren't able to touch her or get too close.  Also, they wouldn't allow Chase in because he was too young. It was so upsetting for him.  

The next day, mom stood up out of her wheelchair (she is pretty much wheel chair bound) and fell and broke her pelvis in two places.  She was admitted to the hospital and we found out she had pneumonia too.  She just can not catch a break but she is so strong. She keeps fighting through everything. 

She is now out of the hospital after 3 days and in Skilled Nursing where hopefully she will continue to heal.  While she was in the hospital, we were able to be with her.  It was so nice to see her and love on her and help her and advocate for her.  We love her so much! 

Going ons....

We got to spend some extra time with the Day family.  We loved having Taylor in, hated why she was here.  

Mom had a Dr. visit so I snuck in to the parking lot to give her the biggest hug!

Colt had a day off last week due to severe allergies that turned into a" Colton cough" and freaked everyone out.  We went into the DR and it was JUST ALLERGIES!  Thank goodness! 

Sweet Cousins!

After Liams birthday shoot, we snuck in a few pictures of the cousins.  It was so much fun to be there and watch Liam dive into his smash cake and then to see my boys with their cousin.  They love him so much.  I think these three are gonna be great friends! 

O.N.E.

I can NOT BELIEVE that our sweet Liam is ONE!!!!! In this mess of a year there has been some good.  Watching this guy grow into this sweet toddler is one of them.  Missing out on so much face to face time with him is of course a negative.  But, this little guy brings our family so much joy! We were able to celebrate him today in a small family gathering in his backyard.  It was nice to feel a little normalcy and so special to be able to celebrate him in person.  We love him so much! We can't wait to watch him grow!
