It's Beginning to look like Christmas....

Christmas went up EARLY this year!  November 10th and trees were up! Its been nice to slowly decorate and enjoy the festive vibes.

Zak started  lights while the boys were at school.
And they helped him finish up.
And for a little fun....

Last night we took an early trip to see Santa before Lacrosse starts up and life gets crazy, once again.  The boys weren't as excited to go this year.  I guess that's what happens when you grow up.  But, its tradition so Gaga met us there and we had a fun evening seeing Santa, shopping and playing.  Colt told Santa he wants a drone (this is a new revelation) and Chase said he didn't know what he wanted.  Really?!?!?!?!

November Fun!

These two...This is how Zak woke the boys up.  Blaring music. At least Colt got up happy.  Doesn't always happen.
Robison Bingo Night!

Colt is his mommas child.  He loves to clean and organize, just like me!
This organizing of his closet set off a whole storm of cleaning out and organizing the boys rooms.
Poor Chase.
Our trees grow like crazy.  Gotta get rid of some limbs so we can see the Christmas lights!
Coffee and Cars with my boys one chilly November Saturday.
Even in 5th grade disguising a turkey is fun homework!
Colonial Day with my favorite 5th grader!
These three tear up the hood at any chance they get.  They needed to file up first.
Island Boys
Happy #40 PA!!!! We loved spending the day with you!!!!

So proud of this kid!
He built this bridge in his Principles of Applied Engineering class and it held 24 lbs. He only stopped adding weight because he wanted to bring it home. His bridge is in first place for holding the most weight so far out of all the classes.

A birthday on Thanksgiving

When your birthday falls on Thanksgiving, you get to celebrate all week long!

We started with our girls birthday dinner. We had so much fun our stomaches hurt from laughing so hard.  Ambers hurt from the drinks!

Thanksgiving morning the boys spoiled me with gifts and bagel sandwiches.  Zak helped me prep for Thanksgiving lunch and we were off to J and Gs to eat all day long!

Friday morning the boys were off to their annual Car Show day.  Last year was canceled because of Covid so this was the boys first show without PawPaw.  I know it was different and they missed him a lot.  But, I am so thankful for the memories Zak and the boys will ALWAYS have of the car show with PawPaw.  I know one day when the boys take their own kids, they will talk about the years they enjoyed with PawPaw at the Car Show.
While they hung out, I grocery shopped (with absolutely no one in the store!) and even did a tiny bit of Black Friday shopping.  I didn't really get any deals but the streets and the stores seemed so empty.

Friday night we got all dressed up and the boys took me to one of my favorite restaurants, Maggianos.  We had such a nice dinner, just the 4 of us.  Saturday afternoon, the boys stayed home and Zak and I went out for a birthday date day.  Ciscos, shopping in Tomball, and Pumpkin Spice pedicures At Tiffanies.

These boys know how to spoil their momma!

Weekend Half and Half

To start the Thanksgiving break, Zak and Colt took a trip up to the lease and Chase (Who hates the cows on the property so he won't go) and I stayed home.
On Friday night a coupe friends came over and they ate pizza and played basketball ALLLLL night.  Saturday, we hit up a craft show and and did a little Christmas decor shopping.  Sunday we went by to see Liam while Becky and Allen took care of a few things.
Colt and Zak didn't get anything but they had a lot of fun.  Hunting, fishing, climbing rocks at Big Rock, Steak dinner at Blackies, oh and Colt DROVE ZAKS TRUCK!!!!!
It was so nice to have some one on one time!

Last baseball game with the RockHounds

Tonight Chase had his last baseball game with the RockHounds.  It was a tough season for their team but, they had a lot of fun and Chase made some new buddies.
At the last practice, Zak was in charge of practice so he organized a kickball game with  the
RockHounds Vs. Parents/Siblings
It was absolutely the best practice ever!
Chase is really finding such a love of pitching!

After the last game Chases buddy, Kingston,  joined us for dinner and sleep over.

Gosh, what a hard loss for the Spartans in their final game! (Only their second of the season.) They played so hard and almost came back!
We are so proud of Colton for trying out football this season and trying something new. I think he enjoyed it a lot more than he expected to.
Love our #5.

October Happenings

Chases last Family Night Book Fair
This kid loves a good dress up day!
After 16 years, we FINALLY got a new front door!
After a REALLY rainy day the boys had football practice, when Colt wasn't dirty enough, coach made him slide through a huge mud puddle.  I sat in my car and stared in amazement at HOW dirty these kids were!

This is the aftermath.  Two days of soaking and scrubbing.  Colt had the best time though!
I had no clue there were so many volunteer opportunities in middle school.  Volunteered for teacher Popcorn Lunch and got to sneak a bag to Colt!

Chase and Hunter!
I love these three.  They just ate the whole game!
Tearing up the 'hood.
The first game the guys watched together all season and they lost!
Averys birthday! Chase wasn't having it.  Colt and Logan loved it!

Look at that sky!
Special visitors.
Chases LAST Fun Run.  He had a blast and I loved volunteering!
Happy 96th Birthday NANA!
Breakfast at the Barrel.
