We tried...

Tonight we headed out to the Waller Demolition Derby.  It was raining at home when we headed out but when we got to the Derby it was clear. NO FOR LONG Soon the heavens opened up and Derby was delayed. After standing around for 2+ hours (in the rain) they made the call to bring the cars out. It was muddy! We watched the cars in the Grand Entry and the weather got worse and worse. We all wanted to stay.  We were so excited to se the cars get smashed. But, we couldn't make it. We were wet, cold and smooshed in a very small tent. So, as the first cars pulled into the arena we rushed out in the rain. We tried... Maybe next year.
