My Mom
My mom is so special to me. Of course, my whole family is, but my mom has been such a blessing and help to me and the boys, especially this year. Without her, we wouldn't have been able to Bridge Colton. Well, we might have but to make it happen, I would have had to give up my position at Foundry (which I love!). Every Tuesday and Thursday (and whenever else I may need her to) my mom picks Colton up from school. Not only does she pick him up but she volunteers to help his teacher, read to his class and do whatever she can to be involved. She also packs both of the boys a snack and juice to have when they get home, then she drives him all the way out to Cypress to drop him off so I don't have to back track on my way home. She sits in front of our house and lets Colton sleep in the car while she reads and waits for Chase and me to get home. She really is the best! I love the time we get to spend together but I appreciate her more then she will ever, ever, EVER know for always making my life easier and helping me with my boys. As you know, this isn't the first thing she's done to help me with the boys. In the past she babysat Colton full-time the first year of his life while I taught. Then, when Chase was born she watched him a couple days a week so I could teach and keep a position I absolutely love at Foundry.
My mom has helped make so many things possible for our family.
Last week, as a little thank you, I took her to a painting class at Vino Artino. We had such a nice time. It's not too often we do anything together without two little boys running circles around us.
Mom, I love you so much.
Thank you for always helping out.
I appreciate you more than you will ever know!
