Dads Night Out

Tonight, after 5  Dad's Nights Out,  Zak went to his last Dad's Night Out, with Chase.  It was bittersweet.  Chase was so excited to have him at school with him and show him around.  They had such a fun time.  I ran into them at the book fair coming in to set up my class and Chase kept trying to get me to leave.  This is such a special night.  Dad doesn't always get to be at school, so it's fun to see a  school full of involved dads and kiddos having fun! And, who'd have ever thought that 15 years ago, when David and Zak were college roommates that they would be at Dad's Night Out together with their kiddos!?!?!  My how times have changed.
