Well, we're headed out of summer 2020 after the threat of DOUBLE hurricanes and a little time with friends. It's definitely was NOT the summer any of us planned for. There was no neighborhood pool meet ups, no birthday trip to Hyatt, no fun restaurant excursions, no date nights out, no week at Pa and Byrds, no birthday parties, no back to school shopping (only quickly for shoes). Not so many play dates or sleepovers, no family gatherings and Mimi and Jerrys, no visiting Nanny at her home. Wer'e still trying to lay low around here. But, in 8 days the boys head off to school and a new chapter of this Covid Pandemic will begin. We can't say the summer was all bad. We were able to squeeze in some time with friends, a trip to Colorado, we tried a few new restaurants for take out together at the dinner table, and we got a lot of family time in! Here's to our last weeks of summer and the double hurricanes Marco and Laura who spared us here in Houston.
