Pancake Tuesday...a tradition we grew up with in our family for Shrove Tuesday before the start of Lent. I'm not sure why it 's not something I've never carried on but we started it this year and the boys LOVED it!
As a kid growing up, its one of my fondest memories (of course it has to do with food!). But, I looked forward to it all year. It was such a treat. Mom would make pancakes (think more like a crepe) and she would let us cover them in lemon juice and sugar.
We made it our own this year and the tradition shall continue!
And on a side note, I've never seen Colt eat so fast or so well. There eggs, bacon and 4-5 pancakes!
