Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

We have had such an awesome break.
I'm so sad everyone is back to school and work tomorrow.
 It's been a week of
no work,
no school,
late nights,
crafts,
relaxing,
sleeping in (or not sleeping in at all)
 movies,
good eating,
Christmas decorating and shopping,
playing outside,
family friends and neighbors
and even a date night
We are so blessed!

Look Mom, No training wheels...

I am so proud of Colton.  He's never been much of a bike rider.  He's always LOVED his scooter.  About a week ago Zak took the training wheels off his bike.  All the neighbors were out and Colton was a little overwhelmed with it all.
So, we tried again earlier in the week when it was just us outside.  After a minute or two of trying, Colton took off and hasn't looked back.
Now we just have to master starting with no help.

"Shark teeth"

NO MORE "SHARK TEETH"

Colton's adult teeth are growing in faster than the baby teeth can come out.
So, yesterday we took him in for his first dental procedure.
He had two teeth "wiggled" out.
Mommy was a nervous wreck but he had no worries.  He loves the dentist and we love Dr.  Joe.
He had a little happy gas, watched a movie, and didn't have a care in the world!
About 10 minutes later, he was two teeth less, numb lipped with no more "shark teeth".
The tooth fairy visited that night.

Wheelie-A-Thon

Yesterday was Wheelie-A-Thon at Chases school.  This is one of my favorite events.  The kids have such a fun fun time riding around.  Thankfully the weather cleared up and it turned out to be a pretty nice day.

And thsi is when Daddy had to leave.  He was NOT happy.  Funny thing is, he was going back to class with me.  Guess I'm not as cool as daddy!

50 Days Smarter

Today Colton's school celebrated the 50th day of school.  Colton wasn't really into dressing up for this one but they had a performance for all the parents and it was so much fun to watch them sing, dance, hula hoop, limbo and jump around.

REWARD TIME!

Zak and I are so proud of our boys, their hard work and their behavior at school.

Chase filled up his sticker chart for good behavior at school and chose a trip to Menchies as his reward.
Where he had a bowl full of candy, hold the yogurt!

Colton has a chart in his daily folder.  If he has a good day, he receives a sticker.  If he makes bad choices in the day he receives a number telling us what happened.  Colton came home for the first 9 weeks of school with nothing but stickers. (And so did Addy.)  For their great behavior, we promised them a trip to the Lego Store.
(I'm so sad but I didn't get a chance to take a picture of all of his stickers before the page was removed from the folder :()
Of course Chase got to enjoy the reward too, just like Colton did at his reward.

Happy Halloween from the Ninja Turtles

Once again, we had a HUGE crowd to walk with.
And, on Monday, Chase had to dress up for a little Halloween celebration at Gym. He of course was JJ Watt.
