Uh OH...

So, you know that deer blind that Zak worked so hard to get built and set up????

Well,
Mother Nature had different ideas...

And this is the 30 year old tree around the corner from his blind that Mother Nature twisted around and broke in half...

CYPALOOZA 2015

Today, Chase had his second Cypalooza event.  He did such an awesome job.  I am so proud of how far he's come since starting Gym about 15 months ago.  He has such a great time in class and listens so well.
He had a great time in the hippo group today.  He was proud to show off all the skills he's been working on to his entourage.
I love this silly little guy and our time at Gym!

Missing Bike Ramp

Last December our neighbor, Steven, let our kiddos have his kids old bike ramp.  It wasn't in great shape and was very well loved...but it quickly became a street favorite.  The kids played on it every day we were outside.  everyday!

Last Thursday, Chase and I came out to notice it was gone.  After talking to Zak, we figured out it had to have been taken between 8-11 the night before.  When I broke the news to Colt he ran into the house crying.  He was heart broken.  About an hour later, we got a call from Addy who was busy at home making missing posters.  She was so sweet to Colton.  She told him they'd make posters, hang them up, and find that ramp!

Fast forward a few days and we hung the posters and we haven't found the ramp.  I did post online that it was mission and I had two different ladies email me about old ramps they had, that we could have.  It was so kind of them!  Zak went to pick one up and it was actually almost like the one we lost.  We have to get it put together but I'm sure as soon as we get it out, the kids will have hours of fun on it!

Deer Blind and a Deer Head

A couple weeks ago, Zak started up on a big project.  Building a deer blind.  But, not just any deer blind.  Something that could be used for years to come and with his boys.  We had pans to head up to the deer lease to meet Doc, Peaches, and Hanna and make a long weekend out of it.  Plans changed last minute and Doc couldn't make it but Zak had to get this massive structure out of our garage!  So, Thank goodness for GREAT friends!!! Matt and David stepped up to help out.

So what started out as a bunch of boards on our garage floor...

 Turned into this...
GOOD WORK GUYS!!!!!
Look at this picture from the lease next to Zak.
Beautiful!
And, on the way home, I got this picture.
Not totally thrilled about this addition but Zak sure is proud of it.

Let's Go Picciottit's Pirates!

This week Colton Had his first Field Day.  I remember how much fun Field Day was for me as a kid so I was as excited as Colton about it.  I took the day off from Foundry and Zak took the moring off as well.  We had a fun time hanging out with the kids, helping out and watching Colt's Class get 2nd place over all.

Easter EGG -stravaganza!!!!

This last week has bee FULL of egg and egg hunts!

We started off last Saturday at Mimi and Jerry's egg hunting.
 (I didn't take many pics:()
Then, this week when the kids got off school on Thursady, Kylin and her mom came over with tons of eggs and goodies for silly string fights and a glow in the dark egg hunt.
Friday, we went to Nanny and Grandad's to make egg garland and get goodies from them.
Later that night, we headed to Allen and Baa's for games, an egg hunt and burgers and dogs.

Saturday morning we got up and headed to the neighborhood park to hunt eggs and play.  In 10 years we've never been to a neighborhood event.  This one was pretty spectacular.  The Easter Bunny, Sponge Bob and a Minion were all there.  They had a train and petting zoo with pony rides and a HUGE egg hunt.  Plus, we saw lots of friends there.
Saturday night, the Easter Bunny CAME!
I just love the notes they left for him.
This morning we headed over to Gaga and PawPaws for Easter "linner" and lots more goodies!

And...A few outakes trying to get the perfect Easter picture...

For the next few weeks...we are on a candy detox!
