A day at the beach...

Today, we took a trip down to Galveston with (most of) the family.  It was a beautiful day, we found a great little area to stop at and the kids (and adults) had the best time!

We're ready to go back!

Jeremy Jacob

Today was book Character Parade day at Colt's school.  He went as Jeremy Jacob from How I Became A Pirate. Such a fun time.  Unfortunately, it was just for the kiddos so I didn't get to go up to school to see him but he sure had fun with it! 

And, here are the first grade teachers all dressed up.  Mrs. Raia on the far left, in Red.  

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHASE MAN!

Happy Happy Happy Birthday Chase-Man!  5!  WOW!  You are kind, caring, silly, and smart.  You are always thinking of someone else before yourself, never wanting to leave anyone else out, specially your brother.  You still love all things blue, Paw Patrol and playing with your trucks and magnets and watching you tube on your iPad.  You are totally 100% ready for kindergarten and pick up on things really quick!  You love to be around others but even still, when you are done, you are done.  If we are outside playing and your ready for bed, you'll let us know!   You are an absolute JOY!  We are so blessed to have you as our son! We celebrated your fifth birthday for three days!!!!  
Starting on Tuesday night with gifts from Mom and Dad so you could have them all day on your birthday to play with.

On your birthday we had a busy buy day! I told you we could do anything you wanted and your first choice was a trip up to school to eat with Colt.  But, you wanted it to be a surprise so mommy packed him a lunch and we went and picked up Chick-Fil-A.  Daddy surprised you up there by joining us.  Your next birthday choice was a playdate with your buddy, Jack.  We ended the evening at Colts playoff game!

 Wednesday night, we celebrated with family and the biggest pizza ever (that you didn't eat).  

And, Gaga made you a PawPatrol cake too! 

We love you so much Buddy!!!!!

Since we missed picture day, I was able to get a quick pic of the boys and their team after games.  What a fun season it's been.   Colt's isn't done...on to playoffs!

LAST DAY of PreK

Today was Chases LAST DAY of PREK!  

His... Last day at Foundry.  

His last day of going to school with Mommy!  

It's bitter sweet.  But, we are so proud of him!

I am going to miss having this guy at school with me more than I can express.  I'm getting choked up just thinking about it.  So, I won't!  We have a FUN FUN summer ahead of us!

This guy had THE BEST time on the Astros.  I think baseball is his sport.  He loved every minute of every single part of this season, from practice to games to chewing bubble gum in the Dugout!  Didn't hurt that he got to play with one of his best buds and have daddy help coach.   Love this little man and can't wait to see where he goes with Baseball!

Ms. Raias Rockets...Field Day 2016! It was the most beautiful morning and I'm so glad we were all able to be there to cheer on Colton and his classmates! 

Head Start to Reading

This guy right here, loves learning!  He has done so well with his Head Start to Reading class and he's totally bummed its over! But he is reading and he has a great start...who knows where he will go from here!   He loved his teacher Mrs. Peffer.
