Santa's Wonderland...

...Take two! Last week we headed up to Santa's Wonderland and as we were getting off the bus, the heavens opened.  We decided to forgo our trip and hold off and try this week. I am sooooo glad we did!   We pulled up 5 minutes before opening to an almost empty parking lot.  We walked right in and didn't wait for a single thing inside!  The crowds were so low, it was great!  The weather was also great although by the time we left it was flat out COLD!  We had such a great time tonight. Until next year Santa's Wonderland...

It's beginning to look a lot ...

Like Christmas! We stared off the Thanksgiving break at Baa and Allen's decorating their tree before they left for vacation. 

 The Wednesday before Thanksgiving Zak put the lights outside... 

 And, the boys decorated the tree.

 The Friday after Thanksgiving, SNOWMAN CAME BACK!!!!!

 And, we ended the break decorating Nanny and Grandad's tree on Sunday night.  

ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!!!!
And, I have to add, over the break I stepped up my shopping game and I am almost finished with Christmas shopping!   Now, to enjoy the season!

Today, we were invited to a ceremony where Mrs. Rogers chose Chase as her Star Student.  She gave a sweet speech about how he is so sweet and she loves listening to his stories and see his writing and illustrations get better and better each day.  He also got an award for Perfect Attendance and Citizenship.  

 Then, this guy came home with an award for Citizenship and AB Honor Roll.  

So proud of my guys and the 1st 9 weeks of kinder and 2nd grade!

Opening Day

Zak texted me after they had been in the blind for an hour and said it sounded like a Rave.  So, needless to see they didn't see a single deer but they sure had a great time and made memories. 

Gun Range

Tonight, Zak took Colt to the gun range for the first time.  I was a nervous wreck. Zak said he did great and enjoyed himself.  I know this is Zaks dream, to show his boys all this "boy stuff" but it makes me so nervous.  What I do know is he is teaching him the right way, the safe way.   Colt was a great shot.  Got a bulls eye on one of his first shots!

50 Days Smarter!

Happy 50th Day of school!

 For weeks Chase has been walking around the house singing his 50s songs and today was the big day.  He finally got to perform!  For 45 minutes, I had THE BIGGEST SMILE on my face. He had such a blast and all of the kindergartners had the BEST time!!!!
