My Mom

Things have not been easy lately but mom and I have been able to spend some good time together.  A little bit of time with Beck, and dad and Glenda but also a bit of time just us two.  She really wanted to go to Burlington, so to Burlington we went.  She cracked me up at the things she picked out to look at. She kept going over and checking out this shirt.  Made me laugh!  It's nice to get her out and about.  I love her so much! 

Brylee and Chase

This is Brylee.   Chases first "girlfriend".   Brylee is our neighbor and is in Chases class.  A few month back we heard that Chase told her she had "beautiful hair".  Then, a few days ago during bath time Zak said something to Chase about Brylee and he told Zak, "I asked her to be my girlfriend".  We think it's so sweet.  She's a cutie,  However, they don't like to be teased about it. ( I mean who would, but we all just think it's so cute!)  I had to BEG them to take this picture.  This is the best I could get.  Poor Chase had been out front all day running around so its not the best but, don't they look sweet together!?!?!?

50s Dance

Because BJ couldn't make it, Landry invited Zak to her 50s themed Cotillion dance.  Zak had the absolute best time and I heard Landry enjoyed herself too!

FAMILY

The past 9 months have been tough, very very tough for my sweet Momma and our family!  Every time anyone asked me about mom, I never have anything good to report.  A slow decline quickly turned into a fast decline after moms hospital stay at the end of the summer.  From September to December, things got very hard. Mom was no longer her self.  There was almost nothing left.  It was heartbreaking.   Then, at a Dr. visit we found out her Potassium was "critically low".  The past three weeks she has upped her potassium level and there has really been some major improvement!   Honestly, I never thought we'd be back here.  She's doing really well.  We still have a long road ahead  of her and things are a challenge, but after how hard things were getting I am so absolutely so grateful that we have a little bit of my mom back!   She's amazing and strong!
