We had a busy fun filled Easter weekend. We started out Good Friday working at Lori and Bills to help clean up their back yard. It was a lot of work but we were in good company and it felt good to help them get it done. Saturday morning, we headed to the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt with the neighbors. Then took an unexpected trip to see Baa and Allen at Nanny and Grandads. (We have a hunt planned over there for next week.) After some Easter treats and a silly string fight we came home and went out to eat with Matt and Amber and the fam. The boys continued the tradition of sleeping in our room and EB came for a visit! Sunday morning we had sprinkle pancakes and hung out. Sunday afternoon we spent at Lori and Bills with an excellent Easter lunch and celebrating Bill's birthday.
And...Here is the egg hunt at Nanny and Grandads with Baa and Allen!
Last night Braxton invited Chase to the Astros game. Dawn sent me pictures all night long. They both love to watch Baseball and ate their way through the game! Dawn said they had a blast and Chase told me the best part was when Altuve (his fav) hit a ball right to them. (It didn't happen just that ;))
While Chase was at the game and Dad was at a golf tournament, Colt and I took advantage and had a little mommy son date night. We went to Target for a birthday gift then I took him to dinner, his choice, at Taco Cabana. It wasn't much but we both loved it. We don't get much alone time these days. All night he talked about what a great evening it was.
