Memorial Day

Another awesome Memorial Day to kick off the summer with the College friends in Grandbury Tx! 

And, this happened at the lease on the way back home.....

While his brother wanted to be the last to leave school, this guy didn't even want to go on his last day.  We had him go for a couple periods and then Zak busted him out early and took him and Kingston to a feast at Torcheys.

We're so proud of him and his hard work this year.  Even taking some high school credit classes and making amazing grades in 8th grade level math.  His grades were great and even made honor roll two of the 4 grading periods!

Chase did SOOOOO well through out Elementary! And he ended 5th grade with straight As in the last grading period!We're so proud of  his amazing attitude and love for school!

Rhetts Graduation

Zak and Andi took a little day road trip after watching Chases 5th grade recognition walk. Rhett, Zak nephew,  had a graduation from AirForce boot camp the in San Antonio.  

Grandad is 70!

Happy 70th birthday to the greatest dad, grandad and friend!  We love you soooo much!

Mother's Day

Mothers Day will just never be the same.  I miss my mom every day but days that are all about her, make it even harder.  

We have a trip to  England planned and we had this made to take and leave as a memorial for my mom.  I can't believe she won't be with us on the trip but I think we all carry her with us and I can only hope she's looking down on us smiling.  

Although it's a hard weekend, we had a lot of fun.  Started out with a nice lunch and swimming for Lori on Saturday.  

Sunday morning I woke up to presents and homemade pancakes.  The boys even wanted to go to Target...not a problem!

We had a nice relaxing day and ended the night at Mellow Mushroom for pizza. 

I am so lucky to be these boys mom! 

April Antics

April has been FULL of sports, school, family time and friends!

I left for a bit and came home to this guy on the couch all decked out ready to cheer on his team!

We miss Nanny every single day but one year without her is impossible.  I'm so thankful for my hubby and my friends who get it and stick by my side.
