Colton had a busy night...

...Picking out birthday presents in the ToysRUs catalog.

I can't believe his 2nd birthday is in just TWO months.

Momma's Little Helper

Colton is such a big help around the house.

He carries in groceries. He helps unload the dishwasher.
He hands me clothes to fold out of the dryer.
He even feeds Sadie some mornings.

As you can see, some of the help makes a little more work for me but that's okay he's learning and he loves to help!

Astors Opening Day and Day 3 of Easter Goodies!

Happy Opening Day Astros! Since daddy couldn't make it to Opening Day this year we wanted to do something special for him so Colton and I put together a basket of his favorite things to have during the game.

This morning we went to see Aunt Baa who had just got home from Colorado. She wasn't here to celebrate Easter with us but she had a special Easter basket ready for Colton with Colorado souvenirs, books and camo candy eggs.
When we got home this afternoon Colton had another Easter surprise waiting on him from Jerry, Glenda and MeeMaw.

Easter Weekend

We have had a wonderful Easter weekend with family and friends.

On Saturday, we went over to Nanny and Grandads for an early dinner. Nanny and Grandad had a basket full of candy and goodies for Colton. They also had this crazy laughing dog from MeeMaw. Colton thought it was so funny to watch the dog roll around on the floor and he chased after it trying to give it a hug.
When we got home we went outside to enjoy the beautiful evening with our neighbors. The kids loved playing on Mr. Matt's 4 wheeler.

This morning the Easter Bunny came to visit.

After a little candy and some homemade breakfast tacos, we were ready to head out to GaGa and PawPaws.

GaGa and PawPaw were ready with another Easter basket full of goodies for Colton.

GaGa made this special bunny cake just for Colton. (He shared it with all of us though.)

Aunt Andi also had some fun stuff for Colton.

Nana was even there!

It was a long fun filled day.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Family Field Trip

Zak took off work Thursday so we could go to Moody Gardens Aquarium in Galveston.
Colton was so excited to see the fish.

As much as he loved watching the fish, he loved running up and down the ramps.

Daddy chased him around a little.

As you can see, in most of the pictures, it was not crowded so there was room for a litlle bit of running around.

We even visited the penguins.

Colton was not happy about posing for this picture. He didn't want to stop he wanted to run wild.

A snack got him to rest for a bit. We visited the shark tank and the scuba divers.

The men were real characters and posed for all kinds of pictures with the kids!

With snack in hand, daddy and Colt tried to stay away from the sharks!

Still snacking but not running!

One of Colton's favorite parts were the giant fish and sharks hanging from the ceiling.

He never could quite understand how they were up there.

After a nap in the truck and a drive around Galveston we headed to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch.

This picture was taken right after the gorilla, across the restaurant, hit his chest and made a loud noise that scared Colton to death. It was all down hill from here for our very sleepy worn out little guy.

What a fun day!
