I love these two "Minja Turtle" lovin' little boys more than they will ever ever know. 

I am so blessed to be their mom. 

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream...

Today, we met Pa at the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham.  We took the tour, enjoyed ice cream and ran around in the little court yard.  After, we headed across the street to the Blue Bell Aquatic Center to swim and soak up some sun. We had such a fun day.  Such a fun day, that I'm sad it's over. 

Lake Conroe

On Saturday, we headed out early with Matt, Amber, Kenna and Addy to spend the day on Lake Conroe and at Ambers parents condo.  We had a great time (aside from the motion sickness I had:( ) The boys loved being on the boat and yelled for Matt to "GO faster!!!!" the whole time.  We explored the lake, swam, played in the sand (what little sand we could find), relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful (cool) summer afternoon. We ended the night at Fajita Jacks on the Lake with the best Sangria Margaritas ever!

9 years

 

 

Last week, Zak and I celebrated 9 years of marriage.  We took it super easy on our actually anniversary and promised each other only cards, no gifts.  Zak, of course,  surprised me with his card and planned an entire day for us on Saturday.  He always has something up his sleeve.  He put a lot of thought into it and we enjoyed our day.  Here's our day in selfies...

 Times have not always been perfect and we've had our ups and downs, just like everyone.  We've been through so much together but I know the man I married is the man I was suppose to be with.  He is my soulmate.  He is my everything.  He is the most amazing husband and daddy.  He puts everyone before himself and takes such amazing care of us.  I know I don't always tell him but, I love him more that I could ever express.  Because of him, I have everything. I love you "da" most!

About a week and a half ago the boys and I met Kellie in Bridgeland at Pope Elementary to try to find a couple funky and fun places to snap a few birthday pictures of my 3 and 6 year olds! We met early because, well you know,  it's summer in Houston.   After a few pictures, the boys had had enough.   Unfortunately, they didn't get tired of pictures at the same time.  We got some cute shots, even one of me and my boys!
