Spring Break

Today, is the last day of Spring Break.  I have loved having Colton home.  Having late bed times and sleeping in.  Hanging out and taking it easy.  It's been a really relaxing Spring Break.  Unfortunately, it's been a really rainy, gloom, cool week.  But, we made the best of it.
Our Spring Break started with the boys first sleep over with Barrett.  After TBall practice he came to stay.  The boys had a great time, they played, had dinner, and watched a movie.  After they all three calmed down, they finally fell asleep in the living room.  They all slept through the night.  At about 6:30, Chase came into us and went back to sleep.  About 7:30 I heard Barrett and Colton whispering in the living room.  We went for donuts the next morning and squeezed in lots of play time.
I'm sure it was the first of many!

We made the best of the gloomy days and stayed pretty busy for the rest of our break... We even snuck in some outside time when the sun tried to peek through.
We played at home, visited Nanny and Grandad, went to the movies at Alamo Draft House, had indoor picnic lunches and even one cold wet outdoor picnic, did a science experiment, had breakfast in bed, shopped, watched movies, had snow cones where the kids played games and came home with snowballs, I got crafty, worked a little on school work, had friends over, and ended the week with a sunny weekend and cancelled practices with lots of playing outside and a double date for the grown ups (while the boys were at Nanny and Grandads- getting spoiled).

Now, they say, its all down hill from here.  School will be out before we know it!
 Bring on SUMMER!
