Christmas Eve didnt start out as planned. Chase woke up with a sore throat and we spent the whole morning trying to find a place, that wasn't and ER, to get him in. The sweet Dr. at Walgreens squeezed us in and diagnosed Chase with Strep RIGHT away. Yup, thats time #3 in 5 1/2 weeks! We finally picked up some meds and tried to get him to take it easy. Strep was not holding him down. We changed up our evening plans. No trip to Nanny and Grandads and no stop at Grammy Phyllis's Chritmas party. But, we had a nice relaxing Christmas Eve at home with McDonalds, Slurping Noodles, and A Christmas Story.
The boys woke up at 6am Christmas morning feeling better! We opened Santa gifts and Zak and the boys started putting together the trampoline. Nanny, Grandad, Baa, Allen and Bob all came to us for breakfast and gifts and then we headed over for MORE gifts and dinner at Gaga and PawPaws.
We are so blessed!
