When we celebrated Mom and Dad’s 40th wedding anniversary, something that was really important to me was getting family pictures taken. I contacted a childhood friend of mine who’s an incredible photographer, she immediately agreed, and we started working tirelessly trying to find a time to get everyone together to take the pictures. Then, when the day finally came it was cold (really cold), dreary and drizzling when we arrived to the location.
You would never know by looking at these pictures, how awful it was outside.
They are perfect.
They turned out better than I ever could have imagined and they will be cherished.
