BASEBALL!

The boys have had SUCH an excellent season!   Chases season is over but he LOVED having Zak pitch for his team and he found a BIG love of playing Catcher. He's got great focus out on the field and really loves playing.  We saw one of his old coaches out on the fields and he said Chase was "really coachable." He's got great heart.  He made his first home run (two of them) this season and made some great plays through the season.   Colt's season is two games into the playoffs with more to come.  This was his first year back in almost 2 years and his first season of Kid Pitch  It was also the year he FINALLY started to enjoy it all! He's been full of nerves and hasn't actually made contact with the ball up to bat but he's scored lots of runs and made some great catches and outs and really realized how much he enjoys it!  Here are some of my favorite pics from this season!

UPDATE-May 29th!  Cubbies are out of the play offs with a hard loss to the Astros on a HOT May night.  The boys didn't play like they could have.  It was a hard loss but I think they were ready for the season to end.  I know Colt would have loved to win but was ready.  He's already taking about Fall Ball!
