SNOW DAY -Round #2!

After celebrating a warm (I wore shorts) MLK day with a day at home and off of school, we were surprised with a Snow Day...actually two! Making for a very short school week!
This "snow day" was a mess!  It was more of an "ice day".  Roads got covered in ice and school and Zak's work was was cancelled.
Day one was COLD!  Like the coldest I can ever remember it being.  Bone chilling COLD.  We all rested and relaxed and laid around all day.  You couldn't get out on the roads, heck you couldn't even walk down the driveway with out slipping and sliding! The boys popped in and out throughout the day but couldn't stay out longer than a few minutes.  At a couple points in the afternoon we got big beautiful fluffy snowflakes that immediately turned to ICE when they hit the ground.

Day #2. Was much more fun!  It was still cold and icy but the boys made the most of the day and played outside off and on all day.

It sure was fun having Zak home for these snow days.  Since he missed the last snow day, he really made the most of this one with the boys!
